Privacy policy
How FixEvidence collects, uses, retains and protects service and repair-report data.

Information collected
- Diagnostic inputs such as appliance, brand, model, problem, code, symptoms and attempted actions.
- Structured repair reports, optional notes, time, cost, outcome and follow-up answers.
- Optional email and optional evidence files such as model photos, receipts or invoices.
- Moderation, verification, security and rate-limit records.
- Consent-dependent analytics or advertising data when configured and permitted.
Purposes and legal bases
Data is used to provide requested diagnostics, secure the service, moderate reports, answer requests and build aggregated repair evidence. Depending on the context, processing relies on performance of the requested service, legitimate interests in security and evidence quality, consent for optional communications/cookies, or legal obligations.
Publication
Reports are private until moderation. Public stories exclude the reporter’s email and private evidence file. Structured model, problem, attempts and outcome fields may be published after approval.
Retention
Approved or research-use repair records are planned for up to 1095 days unless continued aggregation is justified or deletion is required. Private uploaded evidence is planned for up to 365 days after moderation or last verification need. Security and legal records may use different necessary periods.
Processors and transfers
Hosting, email, analytics, consent and advertising providers may process limited data under their own and contractual terms. Cross-border transfers use applicable safeguards where required.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Contact FixEvidence@outlook.dk. Identity verification may be required. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority.
Children and security
The service is not directed to children. Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
