How model-identification, recall, manufacturer and community data are used without implying endorsement.
Model identification
Model identification data sourced from the U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR product database. FixEvidence is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by EPA, ENERGY STAR, or any appliance manufacturer.
Imported product rows identify current certified models; they do not prove a repair outcome, warranty, availability or continued production. Older models can enter the database through reviewed cases and other legitimate documentation.
Recalls
Recall candidates are queried from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission service and matched across model, manufacturer and product description. FixEvidence links to the official record and never labels a broad category match as an exact-model recall.
Manufacturer sources
Brand names and model numbers identify compatibility and direct users to support. FixEvidence is not affiliated with or endorsed by LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, Bosch, EPA, ENERGY STAR or CPSC.
Community outcomes
Outcome statistics use only moderated reports. Evidence uploads remain private unless separate permission and a lawful purpose support publication.
